Design — 2001
Realization — 2009–2012

A nontrivial task was given to the architects working on the design: the Mosstroyekonombank office building had to consolidate the corner on the planned crossing of Krasnopresnensky Avenue and the Garden Ring. It determined the creation of the glass outwindow, quite typical for corners of the buildings, on the one hand, and, on the other hand, details of the outwindow as well as of the entrance apron contrast not only with the finishing of the building, but also with this typical solution.

Nearby are smart high-quality perimeter buildings, in particular an architectural monument, the pavilion of the «Vdovy dom» (Widows’ House) manor (architect D. Gilardi) looking at the Garden Ring and Kudrinskaya Square. That’s where the plain contextualism with proper impressive appearance determined by corresponding typology of the building comes from.

Among other complicating circumstances were the necessity of building lines adjustment, reduction of the ground floor in order to relay the utility networks and to construct a necessary pedestrian passage, and preservation of the hundred–year–old oak in the courtyard which was dozen times reflected in the curved outwindow of the courtyard facade.
