Design — 1998–2003
The pedestrian bridge is a peculiar continuation of the bridge from the Cathedral of Christ the Savior across the Moskva River and together with this cultural and leisure complex compose a united pedestrian zone connecting Yakimanka and Prechistenka Streets. By a system of additional embankments, stairs and passages the bridge is connected with the parking located under the bed of the Vodootvodny canal.
The plan of color granite tile paving is developed.
The project of decoration of the bridge, in which designs of the fences and lamps, and also decorative overlays for metal arch designs are developed, is executed together with the Russian Academy of Arts.
Pedestrian bridges and parking under the bed of the Vodootvodny canal form integrated architectural and urban–planning ensemble are components of the Golden Ring of Moscow tourist and recreational zone.
