One of the versions of the site planning of the territory located between the Central House of Artists and the Park of Arts from one side and the Krymsky Bridge from the other assumed organization of the Arts Square on an axis to the main entrance to the Gorky Culture and Leisure Park. The cultural and educational Art–house center was designated on one side; and the Museum of Private Collections was designed on the other side of the axis.
The customer has chosen the modern version of the project appealing to image of a casket with jewelry with visual contrasting of various materials and textures, such as granite, metal, glass. At the heart of author's idea was a contrast of solemn, lit by a ceiling light public space located on the central axis of the building, and chamber exposition halls with the scattered side light on both sides of it. The top level is a lighted oval room where restaurants, cafes and a walking recreational zone with a possibility to access the operated roof are situated.
